The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by a speech from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amr El-Kilany, Acting Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, who highlighted the department’s diverse activities and AI applications.
Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, faculty members, program coordinators, administrative staff, and students, stressing that Artificial Intelligence Engineering is the driving force of modern technology, paving the way for innovations such as robots capable of sensing human needs and emotions.
The celebration featured a captivating lecture by Prof. Dr. Abir Tawakkol, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering at Mansoura University and Director of the Innovation and Development Center. She shared her expertise on AI applications and renowned algorithms, which greatly enriched the students of Horus University.
