Cooperation Protocol on Civilization Rights – Horus University
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Horus University – Egypt, the official signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol with the Institute of Civilization Rights in the United States of America was successfully held. ✨
The protocol was signed by:
• Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Abdel Hady – President of Horus University
• Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rashad – Director of the Institute of Civilization Rights, USA
The ceremony was attended by:
• Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal – Vice President of Horus University
The protocol file was managed under the supervision of the Faculty of Engineering, led by:
• Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Horus University
• With follow-up by: Dr. Karim El-Daly – Coordinator of the Sustainable Architecture Program
Following the signing ceremony, a training course on “Civilization Rights” was held at the Faculty of Engineering, attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, and students from all faculties of Horus University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rashad.
The course highlighted the importance and benefits of Civilization Rights, which represent an intellectual and ethical framework aimed at promoting respect for cultural diversity and safeguarding human heritage, with a focus on:
• Raising awareness of the importance of protecting both ancient and modern civilizations.
• Supporting intercultural dialogue to achieve understanding and peace.
• Strengthening national identity while connecting it to universal human values.
• Empowering new generations to appreciate the value of civilizational heritage in building a sustainable future.
