A New Step Towards Empowering Our Engineering Students with Future Tools
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Horus University Egypt, and within the framework of the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to bridging academic knowledge with real market needs, enhancing students’ skills in Engineering Programming, Engineering Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Data Analysis & Big Data, Engineering Digital Transformation, and Engineering Business Development;
A cooperation protocol has been signed between the Faculty of Engineering – Horus University Egypt, headed by Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater – Dean of the Faculty, and Sabbak Company for Digital Transformation and Business Development, headed by Dr. Ibrahim El-Sabbak – Chairman of the Board and founder of the National Leadership and Entrepreneurship Shield Initiative, within the framework of the initiative under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
During the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater emphasized the importance of linking academic education with practical application and market needs, highlighting that the current stage requires merging academic knowledge with executive skills and enabling students to practically engage with modern technological tools that serve institutions and society.
The protocol aims to open practical pathways for engineering students in:
• Engineering Programming
• Engineering Artificial Intelligence and practical applications
• Engineering Data Analysis & Big Data
• Engineering Digital Transformation
• Engineering Business Development
• Engineering Entrepreneurship
The cooperation also focuses on supporting graduation projects and student ideas, transforming them into prototypes, building multidisciplinary teams to work on real projects, and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that turns technology into economic and societal value.

• Dr. Hamouda Abu El-Dahab – Director of ISO Sustainability Unit and Deputy of the Innovation Center
• Youth Leader Tamer Mersal – Administrator of university activities at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Board Member of the Egyptian Red Crescent – Minya Branch
