The international summer training program of Horus University’s Faculty of Engineering continued at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC).
On the third and fourth days of the program, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and Thursday, July 9, 2026, academic and practical sessions were held to enhance students’ scientific and professional skills and broaden their international exposure.
Students from the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Departments participated under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Eng. Mohamed El-Hadidi (10 students), while students from the Electronic Engineering Department joined under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Eng. Abdelrahman El-Gohar (3 students).
Day Three featured a lecture titled Communicative Chinese delivered by Dr. Peipei Zhang, followed by a specialized lecture Intelligent Robot System Based on Graph Neural Networks presented by Dr. Mo Fan. Day Four included a scientific lecture Uncovering the Sanxingdui: Terahertz Non-Destructive Testing Systems and Applications delivered by Dr. Hu Min, and concluded with a cultural workshop (Hanfu Workshop) that offered students an interactive experience of traditional Chinese heritage. This program reflects the distinguished academic partnership between Horus University and UESTC, and the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to providing international training opportunities that prepare students for competitiveness in local, regional, and global labor markets.
