Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Horus University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Students from the Architecture Department participated in the 10th International Undergraduate Research Conference (IUGRC 2026) at the Military Technical College. They presented research papers based on their graduation projects and were selected to showcase their work during the sessions, alongside students from Egyptian and international universities such as China and Turkey.
The audience praised the students’ academic level and innovative ideas, reflecting early awareness and a promising research spirit dedicated to solving urban challenges, aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

• Mariam Nagi Mohamed Mohamed – Sustainable Handicraft Center using reeds at Lake Manzala.
• Shahd Mohamed Ibrahim El-Qashawi – Development project for Orabi Fort at Ezbet El-Borg.
• Donia Adel Gamie – Tourist Fish Market project based on
recycling fish waste.
