Faculty of Engineering Successfully Concludes the Field Training Program (Training 2) in Smart Home Systems

• Dr. Rania Hamdy El-Abd – Deputy Director of the Training Unit, Faculty of Engineering Today witnessed another success story with the conclusion of the Field Training Program (Training 2) for students of the Electronics & Communications Engineering Department and the Mechatronics Engineering Department.
Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Engineering and Kaizen Solutions, the program was successfully concluded with certificate distribution to participating students.

About the Training Program: The intensive professional course titled Smart Home Systems Professional Course was delivered throughout July, featuring interactive training, practical experiments, and real case studies.
The training covered key modules including:
1. Introduction to Smart Homes, Electrical & Networking Fundamentals
2. Communication Protocols (Zigbee, Matter, KNX)
3. Smart Lighting, Climate Control & Smart Curtains
4. Smart Security Systems
5. Automation & Voice Control using Home Assistant
6. Integrated Project Design & Automation Scenarios
