Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Horus University, Egypt, the workshop entitled:

“Preparation for the Visit of the International Accreditation Committee (ABET)”

was successfully conducted today.

The workshop was held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and was prepared and delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Moataz Mostafa. It focused on enhancing the faculty’s readiness according to international quality standards and ensuring compliance with ABET accreditation requirements.

Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Horus University, expressed his gratitude to all participants, including faculty members, teaching assistants, engineers, and administrative staff, for their active attendance and valuable contributions to the success of the workshop.

At the conclusion of the event, the Dean emphasized that this workshop represents a significant step in the faculty’s journey toward excellence and international accreditation, under the motto:
