The Department of Architecture is distinguished by distinguished faculty members who hold academic degrees from prestigious Egyptian universities. The department also includes an elite group of supporting staff members from various Egyptian universities. The department’s elite adds a number of scientific research in all fields of architectural engineering, which nourishes the department with knowledge. The department’s faculty members and supporting staff are distinguished by their multi-discipline, forming all architectural engineering specializations from architectural studies, interior architecture, building technology, environmental architecture, to urban design and planning.
The academic backgrounds of the faculty members in the department also extend to many prestigious Egyptian and foreign universities, and this diversity is the basis for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the faculty members and each other, as well as between them and the supporting staff members and students.
The teaching methods and curricula used in the various courses are diverse and closely linked to the surrounding urban environment, starting from the New City of Damietta and the city of Damietta, extending to the Delta region, and starting with the hopes of our new republic.
