Civil Engineering Scientific Day – Horus University
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Horus University, Egypt,
the Civil Engineering Scientific Day was held today, attended by distinguished members of the Board of Trustees and university leadership:
• Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Shenawy – Board of Trustees Member
• Prof. Dr. Adel Deif – Board of Trustees Member
• Prof. Dr. El-Saeed Abdelhady – President of Horus University
• Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelal – Vice President of the University
• Prof. Dr. Mohamed Dobaon – Vice President for Education and Students
The university leaders delivered inspiring speeches to the students, highlighting the importance of diligence and perseverance in their academic and professional journey.
The event was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering,
who emphasized the necessity of hard work and striving for excellence to ensure the success of civil engineering graduates in the labor market, noting that many of the nation’s leaders are civil engineering alumni.
The scientific day also featured distinguished lectures by:

• Eng. Ayman Sobhy – Projects Manager, Orascom Construction
• Prof. Dr. Nasser Khaled – Professor of Geotechnical Engineering, HBRC, and Senior Advisory Committee Member, Engineers Syndicate
The event concluded with honoring the distinguished guests, assistant staff members, lab engineers, top students, and project winners, in recognition of their valuable contributions to the success of the Civil Engineering Scientific Day.
