Master’s Thesis Defense in Green AI Attended by the Dean of Engineering, Horus University
Prof. Dr. Hatem Khater, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering – Horus University, was honored to attend the Master’s thesis defense in Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology – Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport.
The thesis, presented by Mohamed Yasser Abdelghafar Abou El Saad, was entitled:
KM-DBSCAN: An Enhanced Density and Centroid Based Border Detection Framework for Data Reduction Towards Green AI.
The defense took place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM in Al-Farsi Hall – Faculty of Engineering & Technology, with the distinguished examination committee: Prof. Mohamed Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University and Former President of Pharos University; Assoc.
